PMC: de uitdaging om jouw skills als projectmanagement team te bewijzen
De Project Management Championship (PMC) is een competitie voor voltijd HBO of WO studenten met een projectmanagement gerelateerde studie. Doel is de betrokkenheid van studenten verhogen op het gebied van projectmanagement, kennisdeling bevorderen en know-how delen tussen research en de praktijk. Tijdens de competitie word je geïnspireerd en uitgedaagd om mee te doen, samen te werken en jouw skills te bewijzen op het gebied van projectmanagement met behulp van een real-life case.
De PMC kent 3 fases: een kwalificatie test, een nationale finale en een internationale finale. De internationale finale wordt elk jaar door een ander land georganiseerd.
Waarom meedoen?
De PMC is dé competitie op het gebied van projectmanagement, een wereldwijde competitie, en bestaat uit een nationale en een internationale finale. Dit maakt meedoen aan deze competitie een unieke ervaring en een uitdaging. Het doel van de PMC is om jou en jouw team voor een dag in de schoenen te laten staan van een project manager die voor een uitdaging staat: een probleem oplossen in de vorm van een case study, een real-life case study, gemaakt door IPMA-NL.
Tijdens de nationale finale, wordt er een beroep gedaan op jouw vermogen om “out of the box” te denken en te handelen, jouw kennis en skills toe te passen en met een strategische oplossing te komen.
De winnaars van de nationale finale representeren Nederland tijdens de internationale finale. Hierin word je uitgedaagd om het op te nemen tegen de winnende teams uit andere landen.

PMC: the competition to prove your skills as a project management team
The Project Management Championship (PMC) is a competition meant for full-time students in higher education studying project-related courses. Its core objectives are to enhance student involvement in the field of project management. As well as, knowledge sharing, and know-how between research and the business world. This competition is meant to inspire and challenge participants to compete, cooperate and prove their skills within the field of project management with a real-life case.
The PMC is a 3-stage competition consisting of a qualification round, the national finals, and the international final. The international final will be hosted each year by a different country.
What’s in it for you?
The PMC is the one and only competition in the field of Project Management which is organized worldwide and consists of a national and an international final. This is what makes it a unique experience for you to participate and challenge yourself. The aim of the PMC is to put you and your team for a day in the shoes of a Project Manager, who needs to solve a problem as it is defined in the case study, a real-life case study, built by IPMA-NL.
During the National Final, you will be called to apply your knowledge and your skills, to think “out of the box” and provide strategic solutions. Finally, you will be judged by experienced IPMA-certified Project Managers.
Win the Dutch National Final and you will be the representative of the Netherlands in the International Final, in which you will be challenged with other teams from every part of the world!
